Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein may have fathered a secret child more than a decade ago, according to a startling email allegedly sent by Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew. The message, which has surfaced amid a fresh release of U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) documents, has added a new and deeply controversial layer to the already sprawling Epstein scandal.
The email, dated September 21, 2011, is reportedly addressed directly to Epstein and suggests that Ferguson had been informed by “The Duke” — a reference widely understood to mean Prince Andrew — that Epstein had become a father. In the message, Ferguson writes, “Don’t know if you’re still on this bbm but have heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy.” She goes on to offer congratulations, adding that despite losing touch, she was still present “with love, friendship, and congratulations on your baby boy,” signing off as “Sarah xx.”
Epstein, who died in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, was never publicly known to have any children. If the claims contained in Ferguson’s email are accurate, the alleged child would now be around 15 years old. To date, no independent evidence has surfaced to confirm the existence of such a child, and Epstein’s representatives have never acknowledged him being a father.
In another purported email included in the document dump, Ferguson appears to express personal hurt and frustration toward Epstein, accusing him of disappearing from her life. “I did not even know you were having a baby,” she wrote, suggesting she felt used in her association with him, particularly in connection to Prince Andrew. The message adds to the complex web of personal relationships that surrounded Epstein and continues to draw intense public interest.
These revelations come as part of a massive DOJ disclosure, with more than three million pages of documents released on Friday. The files include emails, records, and correspondence that shed further light on Epstein’s personal life, financial dealings, and inner circle.
The documents also revisit Epstein’s relationship with his last known girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak. According to the newly released material, Epstein intended to leave Shuliak his infamous private island, along with $50 million and his Upper East Side Manhattan townhouse. His will was reportedly executed on August 8, 2019, just two days before his death.
While the authenticity and implications of Ferguson’s alleged email continue to be debated, the claim of a secret child has once again thrust Epstein’s shadowy personal life into the spotlight, ensuring that questions surrounding his legacy, associations, and hidden truths remain far from settled.
