Over 40 devotees from Bhavnagar stranded in Nepal amid violent unrest

More than 40 devotees from Nari village in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, have been stranded in Nepal following a sudden outbreak of violence and unrest. The group had travelled to the Himalayan nation for a pilgrimage when the situation turned volatile, leaving them unable to move to safety.

Local corporator Upendra Singh reached out to the stranded devotees to check on their well-being. He immediately informed Bhavnagar MLA Jitubhai Vaghani about their condition.

Vaghani, after speaking directly with the pilgrims over the phone, assured them of full support. He said that he has already briefed the Chief Minister of Gujarat regarding the matter and has updated the Indian government to ensure necessary assistance for the safe return of the devotees.

The families of those trapped are anxiously awaiting further updates as officials continue to monitor the unfolding situation in Nepal.
