Mallikarjun Kharge Accuses PM Modi of Fabricating “Web of Lies” About 8 Crore Jobs

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the PM of weaving a “web of lies” regarding the creation of 8 crore jobs in India. Kharge’s remarks come amid growing concerns over unemployment and job creation in the country.

During a press conference on Saturday, Kharge criticized the Modi government’s employment claims, calling them misleading and out of touch with the reality faced by millions of Indians. “Prime Minister Modi has been selling dreams to the youth of our nation, but the ground reality is starkly different,” Kharge stated. “The claim of creating 8 crore jobs is nothing but a web of lies meant to deceive the public.”

Kharge highlighted the discrepancy between the government’s promises and the actual job market situation, pointing to data that suggests a significant gap in employment figures. He accused the Modi administration of failing to address the real issues plaguing the job sector, including underemployment and poor working conditions.

“The youth of this country deserve better,” Kharge added. “They need real opportunities, not false assurances. The government must focus on creating sustainable and quality jobs rather than indulging in propaganda.”

The Congress chief also called for a comprehensive review of the government’s employment policies and urged for greater transparency in reporting job creation statistics. He emphasized the need for policies that support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), which he believes are crucial for generating employment.

Kharge’s accusations have sparked a heated political debate, with the BJP defending its employment record and accusing the Congress of spreading misinformation. BJP spokespersons argued that the Modi government has implemented numerous schemes aimed at boosting job creation, including initiatives in the manufacturing and startup sectors.
