Wayanad Landslides: LDF and UDF Urge MLAs and MPs to Contribute to CM Relief Fund

In a rare show of unity, both the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF) have called upon their respective MLAs and MPs to donate to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid the victims of the devastating landslides in Wayanad. The natural disaster has caused widespread destruction, displacing many and leaving a trail of loss and hardship in its wake.

The Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, has welcomed the bipartisan effort, highlighting the importance of collective action in times of crisis. “The people of Wayanad are going through an extremely tough time. Every bit of support counts and it’s heartening to see political differences set aside for the greater good,” he said in a statement.
