G20 Summit: Delhi traffic police conduct full carcade rehearsal
Delhi Traffic Police conducted a full carcade rehearsal in the Shanti Van Chowk, as India’s capital is all set to welcome G20 leaders at the G20 Summit under India’s Presidency.
The G20 summit will be a two-day affair starting from September 9. In these two days, leaders and delegates from 40 countries, including 20 member states will be visiting Delhi.
Keeping all the security points in check, the Bomb Squad of the National Security Guard (NSG) also conducted an anti-sabotage sweep on Saturday at different locations.
Not just NSG, every force is well prepared for the summit. Earlier, on Saturday, The Delhi Traffic Police conducted a full dress rehearsal.
To keep every corner of the capital safe. The Delhi Police is taking care of each possible detail and also underwent three months of training to deal with the fallout of any uncertainty.
G20 in India will see mass participation in the history of the grouping, with all the arrangements from their arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport to their stay at the best hotels, all the requirements and precautions are been taken care of.
As a forum for the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors to debate international economic and financial concerns, the G20 was established in 1999 following the Asian financial crisis.
The Group of Twenty (G20) is the main setting for economic cooperation on a global scale. On all significant international economic issues, it plays a significant role in forming and strengthening global architecture and governance.
This time, under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will preside over the G20 from 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023.
