Netflix has announced an exciting collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment for a highly anticipated untitled Bollywood series set to release in 2025. Produced by Gauri Khan, the series will mark Aryan Khan’s debut as both a creator and director. The announcement was made this week in Los Angeles at an event hosted by Bela Bajaria, Chief Content Officer of Netflix, which highlighted some of the most ambitious international projects coming to the streaming platform next year.

About the Series

Set in the glamorous yet gritty world of Bollywood, the multi-genre series promises an entertaining and adventurous ride. The story follows a charming, ambitious outsider navigating the highs and lows of the film industry. With a blend of high-stakes drama, self-aware humour, and larger-than-life characters, the series is expected to offer a unique and tongue-in-cheek take on Indian cinema, complete with blockbuster cameos.

A Growing Partnership

This new series will mark Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment’s sixth collaboration. Their previous projects include the hit dark comedy Darlings, the critically acclaimed crime-drama Bhakshak, the cop drama Class of ’83, the zombie horror series Betaal, and the spy thriller Bard of Blood.
