Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov called the allegations “a typical bogus story” and insisted that there has been no communication between Trump and Putin since Trump’s departure from office in January 2021. “These are just sensational claims without any basis. It seems the media is simply recycling old narratives to create intrigue where there is none,” Peskov stated during a press briefing in Moscow.
