The United States, Egypt, and Qatar have been pivotal in mediating the truce over the past year. Qatar’s prime minister, who played a critical role in the negotiations, reportedly held separate meetings with delegations from both sides to resolve a last-minute dispute over security arrangements along Gaza’s border with Egypt.
