India and Vietnam to Expand Cooperation During PM Pham Minh Chinh’s New Delhi Visit

Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to New Delhi marks a significant milestone in the growing partnership between India and Vietnam. The two nations are set to enhance their cooperation across various sectors, with a focus on economic, defence, and cultural ties.

During his visit, PM Chinh held comprehensive discussions with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the need for closer economic collaboration. Both leaders highlighted the potential for increased trade and investment, aiming to leverage each country’s strengths in technology, manufacturing, and agriculture.

Defence cooperation also took centre stage in the talks. The two leaders agreed to deepen military collaboration, including joint exercises, training, and defence technology transfers.
