Former Prince Andrew, the brother of King Charles, has vacated his long-time residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor following the release of new documents connecting him to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. A royal source confirmed on Wednesday that the 65-year-old former prince has been relocated to a cottage on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, marking a significant moment in his ongoing fallout from the Epstein scandal.
According to reports, Andrew had hoped to remain at Royal Lodge for a longer period, but the latest revelations made it clear that a move was necessary. The Sun newspaper described his departure as “humiliating,” noting that he left under the cover of darkness on Monday evening. Friends of the former prince reportedly confirmed that the recent batch of Epstein files played a key role in convincing him that it was time to relocate.
