Trainee Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Puja Khedkar has finally addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding allegations of her submitting a fake certificate to secure her position. In a statement released on Monday, Khedkar strongly denied the accusations and emphasized her commitment to proving her innocence.
The scandal erupted last month when reports surfaced claiming that Khedkar had submitted a forged educational certificate during the IAS selection process. The allegations prompted an official investigation, casting a shadow over her burgeoning career in public service.
“Proving guilty by assumption without thorough investigation undermines the principles of justice and fairness,” Khedkar said in her statement. “I categorically deny all allegations of submitting any fake certificates.
