PM Narendra Modi Takes Holy Dip In Sangam At Mahakumbh In Prayagraj

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam. During his visit, he offered prayers and sought blessings for the well-being of all citizens, celebrating one of the world’s largest spiritual gatherings.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Mahakumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj on Wednesday, where he took a holy dip in the revered Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Clutching rudraksha beads and chanting mantras, the Prime Minister offered prayers while standing in the sacred waters.

Reflecting on his experience, PM Modi expressed his gratitude, stating, “Today, I got the great fortune of performing Puja-Archana after bathing in the holy Sangam at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. I received immense peace and satisfaction from the blessings of Maa Ganga. I prayed to her for the happiness, prosperity, health, and well-being of all the countrymen. Har-Har Gange!” His heartfelt message was shared on social media platform X.

Before reaching the Triveni Sangam, PM Modi enjoyed a boat ride with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Mahakumbh, which commenced on Paush Purnima (January 13), is recognized as the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, drawing devotees from across the globe. The event will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26, celebrating the rich spiritual heritage of India.
