The political landscape of India is poised for a decisive turn as the results of the 2024 General Elections roll in. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on the brink of securing a historic third term, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leading in a majority of the constituencies. Meanwhile, the opposition alliance, known as INDIA (Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance), is hoping for an outcome reminiscent of the 2004 elections, where an unexpected shift in voter sentiment led to a change in government.

The INDIA alliance hopes for a similar turnaround, banking on the support of marginalized communities and regional parties.
