Dev Prakash Madhukar, who is considered the main accused in the case, was apprehended by the authorities early this morning. The stampede happened when a large crowd, gathered to receive blessings from Bhole Baba, surged forward uncontrollably. Preliminary investigations suggest that poor crowd management and lack of adequate safety measures led to the chaos.

Witnesses reported scenes of panic and confusion as devotees tried to flee the overcrowded area.
