Bomb Threats Targeting Over 90 Flights, Delhi Police Registers Eight FIRs

The Delhi Police have registered eight First Information Reports (FIRs) following bomb threats targeting more than 90 flights across various airlines. The threats, received over the past few days, have caused significant concern among security agencies, passengers, and authorities.

According to officials, the threats were communicated through anonymous emails and phone calls, which prompted an immediate response from airport security teams. The affected flights were grounded or delayed as a precautionary measure, causing disruptions at multiple airports. Special teams, including bomb squads and cyber units, have been mobilized to ensure the safety of passengers and to trace the origin of these threats.

A senior police official confirmed that all threats are being treated with the utmost seriousness, and no chances are being taken regarding public safety. “The investigation is ongoing, and we are collaborating with various agencies, including the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and intelligence units, to track down the source of these threats.”
