North Korea Accuses Israel of Bombing Gaza Hospital, Labels U.S. an ‘Accomplice’

The allegation came in a press release from the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which claimed that the Israeli military had carried out a strike on a hospital in Gaza, resulting in casualties and extensive damage. North Korea accused Israel of violating international law and committing a grave humanitarian offence.

The statement from North Korea read, “The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea condemns in the strongest terms the unprovoked aggression by Israel against a hospital in Gaza, causing the loss of innocent lives and severe destruction. This blatant disregard for international law is unacceptable.”

Furthermore, North Korea did not stop accusing Israel alone; it extended its criticism to the United States. The statement labelled the U.S. as an “accomplice” for its ongoing support of Israel, including military aid and political backing. North Korea asserted that this support had emboldened Israel to act with impunity in the region.

The United States swiftly responded to North Korea’s accusations, with a statement from the White House press secretary calling the allegations “baseless and inflammatory.” The U.S. reiterated its commitment to a two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and urged all parties to exercise restraint and work towards peace.
