India is all decked up for the G20 summit next week, U.S. President Joe Biden is one of the most anticipated heads of states to attend the two-day summit.
The white house has confirmed that Biden will also have a bilateral meeting with Indian PM Modi on September 8, a day ahead of the global summit. Biden will arrive two days ahead of the G20 summit, which is all set to take place on September 9 & 10 in New Delhi.
The G20 partners will discuss a range of joint efforts to tackle global issues including the clean energy transition and combating climate change, mitigating the economic and social impacts of the Russia-Ukraine war will also be on the agenda.
Discussions will also include deliberation around increasing the capacity of multilateral development banks, including the World Bank, to fight poverty.
