Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the G20 remains steadfast in its purpose to deliver for the good of the world as day one of the summit was successfully concluded on Saturday under India’s Presidency.
PM Modi tweeted on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Under the collective commitment of its members, the G20 stands resolute in its mission to deliver for global good.”
While this was happening, the summit took an intriguing turn when PM Modi, World Bank President Ajay Banga, Presidents of Brazil and South Africa, Lula da Silva and Cyril Ramaphosa, and US President Joe Biden posed for a group photo.

Notably, the first day of the G20 Summit in New Delhi was still packed with important interactions for the international leaders there.
In Delhi, Prime Minister Modi met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the UAE.

In a post on X, Biden highlighted the G20 Summit’s theme as “One Earth. Single Family. a Future. Building resilient infrastructure, making excellent infrastructure investments, and forging a better future that reflects more opportunity, dignity, and prosperity for everyone are the main goals of this G20 Summit.
The leaders of the four nations promised to build on the “historic progress” of India’s G20 Presidency to address global concerns at their Saturday meeting in New Delhi, which took place in conjunction with the G20 Leaders’ Summit.

On Saturday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by India, the US, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, and the European Union to create the IECC EC.
