US President Donald Trump has launched another fiery attack on NBC’s late-night host Seth Meyers, calling him “the least talented person to perform live in the history of television.” The remarks came after Meyers aired a segment mocking Trump’s recent speech to US Navy troops deployed off the coast of Japan.

In his Thursday episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the comedian ran a clip titled “Seth Translates Trump to English” during his “A Closer Look” segment. The skit featured Meyers parodying Trump’s speech and his reactions to political criticism. Referring to Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer’s remarks on Trump’s East Asia visit, Meyers joked, “If anyone dares to say anything less than glowing, Trump loses his s–t.” He further claimed, “Trump thinks that if you say something mean about him, that’s treason.”

Trump, never one to let criticism slide, fired back on Truth Social. “Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ live in the history of television,” Trump wrote on Saturday. “In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise.”

He went on to call Meyers “a truly deranged lunatic,” claiming he had watched the show “for the first time in years.” Trump also took aim at NBC, accusing the network of bias and wastefulness: “Why does NBC waste its time and money on a guy like this??? NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!”

This is far from the first time the two have clashed. Earlier this year, Trump dubbed the comedian “Marble Mouth Meyers” and a “slot filler for the Scum that runs Comcast.” In August, he claimed there was “a sick rumor” that NBC had extended Meyers’ contract and questioned “why the network would extend this dope’s contract.”

Their feud dates back to 2011, when Meyers famously roasted Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — an event that many believe sparked Trump’s deep resentment toward him.

As of now, Seth Meyers has not directly responded to Trump’s latest tirade but did share the controversial segment on his social media shortly after the president’s remarks.
