Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj for Delhi met with the doctors, paramedics, and other medical personnel assigned to the G20 summit’s healthcare team on Tuesday.
Bharadwaj forewarned them of harsh punishment in the event of any carelessness or misbehavior.
“Once again, Delhi’s Health Department must shoulder a considerable burden. The minister Bharadwaj was quoted in the release as stating, “It is our common duty to secure the safety of the foreign delegates attending the G20 Summit.
According to Minister Bharadwaj, the reputation of our nation is at stake, not just the health care system.
“Any form of misconduct will not be tolerated, and it will be dealt with severely,” he declared. The minister told the doctors that since Delhi is hosting the G20 meeting, the obligation of the government is considerably larger than it is for other governments.
Bharadwaj encouraged all of the doctors and healthcare professionals to work hard and complete their duties with a commitment throughout the conference.
Over 150 doctors, including senior resident anesthetic specialists, attended the meeting.
On special duty (OSD) Health, the Director General of Health Services, and the Secretary of Health were also present.
To guarantee that the incoming foreign delegates are properly looked after, Minister Bharadwaj indicated that everyone will be forced to work in shifts. To ensure the staff’s well-being and the visitors’ health, he emphasized the value of working attentively during each shift, the statement continued.
According to the release, Minister Bharadwaj responded to the questions posed during the meeting and urged the healthcare professionals to demonstrate the same commitment and passion as they had during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“He stated that we cannot tolerate any negligence in healthcare arrangements, warning of a strict action against those found negligent,” the statement continued.
