Their meetings will strengthen the relationship between India and the USA and cover a wide variety of topics, according to a post on X by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Both leaders will have the chance to continue where they left off during PM Modi’s first State visit to the US in June during their bilateral meeting. The US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was reported as saying in a Reuters article that the bilateral meeting is anticipated to result in significant advancements on the GE jet engine agreement and civil nuclear technology.
For the G20 Summit, President Biden traveled to New Delhi early on Friday. His trip to India is his first as president.
