Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid out an ambitious vision for India’s future in telecommunications and digital entertainment. “India cannot afford to be a mere consumer of technology. We must innovate, develop, and export our solutions to the world,” Modi stated. In addition to the focus on 6G, PM Modi also addressed the growing popularity of digital gaming, particularly among the youth. He voiced concerns over the dominance of foreign-made games in the Indian market and called for the creation of a vibrant gaming ecosystem within the country.
“We have immense talent in our country, and it’s time we harness that to create games that reflect our culture, values, and stories,” the Prime Minister remarked. He emphasized that producing games locally would not only create jobs but also provide a platform for Indian creativity and storytelling on a global stage.
