Before departing for Thailand, Modi emphasized BIMSTEC’s role in promoting regional development, economic progress, and strategic cooperation. “BIMSTEC has emerged as a key platform for fostering growth and connectivity in the Bay of Bengal region over the past decade,” he stated.
