Democratic candidate Kamala Harris welcomed her rival Republican Candidate Donald Trump by shaking hands. Later on, the debate started and Harris put her rival in defensive mode by attacking him with various questions and allegations that included, Trump’s fitness for the office, his support for abortion restrictions and countless legal troubles.
Harris while discussing the Russia-Ukraine war, pointing towards Trump said, “Understand why our European Allies and NATO allies are happy that you (Trump) are not President of the United States of America, We understand the importance of the biggest military alliance, i.e NATO, and what we have done is to preserve Ukrainian President Zelensky and Ukrainians to fight for their freedom, otherwise Putin would have been sitting in Kyiv and planning to attack The West, starting from Poland.”
Harris reflected on her concern for the 80,000 Polish Americans living in Pennsylvania and said, “You (Trump) would have given it up to Putin, who is a dictator and he will eat you in lunch. While Trump highlights the issue of immigration, and designates Harris as a threat to national security and integration. During his speech, he mentioned that even Putin, who she calls a Dictator, supported her.
“She is Biden,” he said. “The worst inflation we’ve ever had, a horrible economy because inflation has made it so bad, and she can’t get away with that.”
“Clearly, I am not Joe Biden, and I am certainly not Donald Trump,” shot back Harris, who has offered her own economic solutions in addition to supporting several of Biden’s positions. A new generation of leadership for our nation is what I do offer, too.”
Following the debate, Trump proceeded to criticize the Biden-Harris record in the “spin room” with reporters.
