Tesla has launched Model 3 sedan in Beijing on September 2, Saturday. the automaker released a restyled China-made vehicle to gain an upper hand in global market.
The launch markes Tesla as the first automaker to roll out a vehicle in China ahead of the United States. The release has made Tesla one step ahead of its competitor BYD, which is a U.S. based company.
The revamped version of Model 3 sedan is being built at tesla’s largest plant, that is in Shanghai, China. The new Tesla’s sedan will be wxported to other markets in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. A rear display for back-seat passengers is one of the new features, embeded for chinese buyers.
However, at the launch, interested buyers liked the upgrades to the audio system and the rear display. while some did not find the upgrades worth of placing an order.
